Odd smile

Of grapes and roses I defined my quest,
By love and odium my destiny was endorsed.
Of highest stratum I declared my course,
And loamy domical was ‘dorned for my end rest.

For guild of suns my hand was outdrawn,
On higher grounds was my foresight set.
Till God smiled shiningly, or say, derided at
His servant haughty, remitting him to dawn

Eternal… Interim, who’d dare to question God?
When darkness prowls, and silhouettes emerge?
Two thousand winks to bat of now urge.
Yet, can’t forget the smile, that smile was odd.
