Nightmare
In a dream I thought I was and I dreamt that I was dead.
I floated thru a maze of darkness and it seemed like it was night.
I wasn't scared or all alone, and soon I saw a light.
I saw a Heaven and I saw a hell, but neither were like I thought -
There were no halos, there were no pitchforks like the way that I've ben taught.
Heaven was a shining place which amazed and awesomed me,
It was even more lighter than gold or silver could be.
People weren't people with a hate for one another;
There were souls with only Love to spread on each and ever brother.
The peace and painless moments that on Earth we all search for
Were everywhere and always were behind each and every door.
But when I felt so snug and warm and perfectly free,
A sudden wind came by and encompassed me,
I floated and I floated as if passing thru a moor;
The gates of hell stood before my eyes for an unquided tour.
The hell I saw was a horrid sight that I will try to explain:
People weren't people, they were obviously in sane,
There were chambers upon chambers for every crime and sin.
You'd think by now they'd paid their dues and could be taken away from this pan.
There were snakes and bugs and crawling everywhere,
They were put for a purpose and to plague you was their dare.
At that moment it seemed to me a magic, or a spell,
And I returned to my body and escaped the place called hell.
It was just a dream, a store, a fairy tale you see,
And I didn't fully understand why the vision fell on me.
Iy left me feeling strange inside, like I had been a part of smth special,
And this gave me much pride.
So, I ll keep this story and I will never tell
What splendor fell on me in Heaven and what horror I found in hell...
