Night call

Should I call you at the time,
When my college peers are sleeping,
And enjoying wonderful dreams,
Or sweating from horrible nightmares?

Why should I call you,
Instead of calling my best Russian friends
Who are drinking their morning coffees,
And would be happy to hear my voice?

Once you told me:
 “Call me anytime you want”.
I am not sure if  1:00 AM is still
A good time to start the conversation

Right now I need to talk.
Right now I feel extremely lonely.
May be I will call you,
And your charming voice will encourage me.

You are my new friend;
The more I know about you.
The more I like you and trust you.
We have many things in common.


Honestly, I did something
To bring a few spice into our friendship.
Now you want a different relationship,
But I am not ready for that.


Tonight I don’t call to anyone,
I am going to bed and will have a nice sleep.
However, I may call you next time,
And definitely will see you tomorrow.
