I heard my Angel speak to me
I heard Him speaking holy
“The curse of shadows fell on me
Embraced by thoughts, I’m withered”
He turned around, walked from me
He walked away, but couldn’t fly
That’s when I felt the strength from thee

Embraced by fear, hate and guilt
I felt my powers weaken
I felt the darkness gaze at me
I felt the shadows stare right through me.
And then I knew my faith indeed
The curse of shadows was upon me
They cursed my thoughts
My mind, my freedom.
I tried to run, I tried to hide
But felt Them watching for me
I called my Angel -“Come to me !
Embrace my thoughts I‘m weakened”
And then I saw Him fly to me...
And then I felt Him gaze at me...
I felt Him stare right through me...
Embraced by fear I wept for thee,
The curse of shadows swallowed me...
My thoughts are my shadows
