The godly slaughter

in winter harsh i said to him:
if you do not prevail,
yours shall not rise, mine shall not fall;
it is now time. set sail!

for centuries sailed the bloody seas
his ship - and far beyond
until he came by morning breeze
to land that once i owned.
i scolded him, remembered he,
i shredded through his mind;
in vain he now appealed to me -
i"d left him far behind.

my far-sprawled power he deposed -
he shuns me from now on.
i say now - as to what have caused
mine"s fall from glorious throne -
no one can say - not even he,
for his nay also rose.
in vain he now appealed to me -
his did i, too, depose.
