What is love?
1st Korinth. 13:8
“What is Love? - It is the Tears
Among the silence of wild night.
It is the most wonderful Dreams,
Taking out all childish light.
“What is Love? - It is the Gaiety,
Filling hearts with the beauty of world,
It is the bitterest Sweetness
And Fight with Satan till end.
“What is Love? - It is the Hunger,
The aching endless Need,
It is the Thirst, when weather grows colder,
And cold Water among the heat.
“What is Love? - It is the Grief,
But very lonely in its pain,
It is the Sea, full of tears,
On the Earth of living shades.
“What is Love? - It is the Sword,
Making terrible wound between ribs,
It is the sharpest Razor,
That leaves your heart to bleed.
“What is Love? - It is the Waiting
That the blood is excited again,
And the tears are rushing from eyes,
And you’ll think that fight is in vain.
“What is Love? - It is the Flower in winter
For beneath the bitter snow
Lies the Seed that with sun’s glitter
In spring becomes the Rose.
“What is Love? - It is the Heart,
That is very afraid of breaking,
It is the Key from the Door of Temple,
Please, take it. And Temple’s awaking.
“What is Love? - It is the Faith
On the distant and lonely way,
To find each other through pain,
And be happy till the end of the grave.
