Up until 2020, the mRNA biotechs had mostly poor results testing mRNA drugs against various pathogens, and most found that the side-effects of mRNA insertion were still too serious, leading some to re-focus on lower margin (i.e. less profitable) vaccines, where the doses would be at much lower levels.

By November 2020, no mRNA drug had yet been licensed for use in humans, however, both Moderna and BioNTech appear close to emergency use authorization for their mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines.

Scientists are not clear as to why the novel mRNA COVID-19 vaccines of Moderna and BioNTect/Pfizer have shown potential high efficacy rates of 90 to 95 percent (from their press releases), when mRNA drug trials on other pathogens (i.e. other than COVID-19), were not so promising and had to be abandoned in the early phases of trials.

А если просто и по-русски - вакцина для КОВИДа - это новый тип вакцины, который ни разу не применялся для людей, не имеет успешных результатов опытов даже на животных, принцип действия которой основан на генетической модификации клеток, потенциально вызывает рак и имеет совсем неясные последствия в долгосрочной перспективе...

Нормально так, да?
