To be an old geezer(minus Katherine Hepburn's shakes) would be nice. To be a 120+ years of age, and having the youngsters ask you what it was like in them 'olden days' is what life is living for now. To neighborhood kids would be afraid of me. They'd say, 'I dare ya to knock on the old geezers door?' I'd laugh, but enjoy the moment. To be an old man with wisdom, to be annoying in the sense that I'd always be giving everybody advice. I'd like to be walking down the street, listening to this ancient band called Oasis, and having people ask who were they. Ahh... I'd say they were 'right top!' Liam & Noel were unlike any personality in the history of R&R. They desired to be unlike the mainstream. The youngsters would be left with only my thoughts, interested, but not sure because the past would be a mystery to them. Then I'd give them copies of songs like Wonderwall, Live Forever, and the out-of-this-world DYKWIM. I'd tell them about how MTV, once upon a time, ruled. They'd be captivated, but still unsure of the mysteries of the forgotten past. I would like to be on my porch sipping some lemonade, relaxing because I would have been playing ball with the kids, reminiscing about the past, telling more stories to whomever came by. I would like that quite alot...
