The Guiding Star

Once a girl, wrapped in sorrow's embrace,
Yearned for her dreams to find a bright place.
With a heart heavy, doubts filled her head,
She hoped for a sign before light turned to dread.

In silence she pondered, 'What must I do?
Who can guide me to visions so true?'
Then softly she drifted, embraced by the night,
To a realm of dreams, where all is made right.

There appeared to her then, adorned in gold light,
A woman with wings, a beacon so bright.
She whispered with kindness, 'Dear child, do not fear,
For the path that you seek is much closer than near.

'You wander in shadows, yet strength you possess,
A journey awaits; hear my words, they'll bless.
Seek out the Star that will show you your way,
With her guiding glow, you’ll not falter or stray.

'When darkness surrounds, let her brilliance unfold,
For she holds the secrets of dreams to behold.
With faith in your heart, take the first gentle step,
And trust in the journey - your spirit will prep.

'Dear girl, do remember, though trials may be,
Your guiding light’s there, just believe and see.'
She vanished to mist as the dawn brushed her hair,
The girl woke renewed, with purpose and care.

No longer confined by the shadows of doubt,
She sought her Guiding Star - her heart filled with clout.
Now every dream sparkles, each moment is free from sorrow.
With courage ignited, through life she will soar.
