Shades of Winter
In crystal whirlwinds, dreams begin to weave.
Light snowflakes dance, like ballerinas twined,
In hearts they stir a wonder that leaves.
The soft white snowstorm gently swirls about,
To winter’s chill, its mysteries confide.
With first star’s gleam, the night comes rushing out,
The moonlight casts a tale so sweet and wide.
In rhythm of a winter’s blues, soft notes arise,
Snowflakes swirl and two lovers sing their tune.
Outside, the cold brings snow and biting skies,
Upon the glass, their traces manage soon - look!
Strokes across the canvas by dreams that glow,
In each a secret held with threads of hope.
The winter’s colors, snowy shades aglow,
Glimmer, shine, and in their brilliance, winter's scope.
Like icy crystals: in their depths, light dwells.
The day retreats, as if in wearied flight,
Like birds that soar above the river’s swells,
They whisper of our dreams in soft twilight.
Amidst the hush where winter’s breath intones,
The world transforms, as night begets the day.
Yet white remains, adorned with pearly tones,
In snowy cloaks, snowflakes dance in magic’s sway.
Each flake a whisper, secrets softly spun,
A delicate ballet upon the ground,
Where dreams take flight, and all is lullaby sung,
In this enchanted realm, pure joy is found.
Beneath the shimmering glow of twilight stars,
The frozen silence holds a timeless grace,
While nature paints her canvas, free of scars,
And hearts are warmed in winter's soft embrace.
