Summer Shades

The merry fields are cloaked in summer's green,
While morning mist embraces dewdrops, sheen.
We've bid farewell to spring for a time,
The trace of cooler days will soon decline.

Summer has arrived, with birdsong in the air,
Nature's sounds, the whisper of grasses fair.
Children's delight in swings and films they see,
From park walks and candy floss, pure glee.

Shades of summer, with a palette bright,
In warm breezes they blend anew, in flight.
Beautiful Summer in her splendid dress,
Inspires and fills our hearts with tenderness.

Her gown stitched from a rainbow's bright array,
With hair of pink petals in playful display.
Her adornment - a veil of wildflower grasses,
Woven by nature' dreams grace.

Brushstrokes on canvas - summer’s hues of cheer,
In every picture - a light joy appears.
Colors of summer, with sunny shades aglow,
Reveal themselves in lush landscapes we know.

On painterly canvases, there's plenty of light,
Sunshine, sea spray, and lovers in delight.
These artworks come from the heat of the summeerday,
Awakened by dawn in their passion’s array.

In them, colors gleam with juicy greens,
Like in the works of Rylov and Kuindzhi's scenes.
Blueness of flowers, azure skies up high -
As if they’ve stepped from Levitan’s watercolour sky.

In cotton dresses the meadows are dressed,
In hues that echo Plastov and Kustodiev's best.
Nature delights us with hues of summer's grace:
Apple, nutty and honey's sweet shades.

With birch-like curls, the Beauty of Summer flies,
Over the sprawling fields, under the open skies.
Her lips, a rosy hue of dog rose bloom,
Whisper through leaves, love’s tender tune.

All hues and tones are wondrously fine,
In them, joy and memories intertwine -
During cold white winters, with tea in hand’s grasp,
Remembering bright summer days - its warm clasp.
