Let Not our Hearts Grow Cold and Stark
With blizzards wild and icy trees,
And drifts of powdered white as well.
Though tempests roar and chill bites deep,
Let not our hearts grow cold and stark,
For ‘tis in warmth our spirits keep,
In laughter's light, where love can spark.
A gentle smile, a tender touch,
These gifts of kindness brightly shine,
For in this frost, we need so much
To warm our souls, to intertwine.
So huddle close, let hearts ignite,
In winter’s grasp, let love uphold,
For when we share that inner light,
Together, we can brave the cold.
