can Emily do when Sue’s heart is so large?
Well, Emily knows that Cupid has fixed in her own heart
an arrow of love for Sue, and so, instructed by this,
she can with more tenderness than ever suggest to Sue
that there is plenty of room in her large heart for Cupid
to fix an arrow of love for Emily. Presumably at the end
of the last line something like ‘you, to make this
suggestion’ has to be supplied.]
